En el context d'una recerca sobre les cures vaig demanar a ma mare revisar l'arxiu fotogràfic familiar. M'interessava que es fixés en el contacte dels cossos com una manera d'aproximar-me a les cures. Així matiex delegar en ella la feina de revisar, identificar i seleccionar les imatges de l'arxiu va constituir en si mateix un acte de cura. Vaig treballar i traduir les imatges que va seleccionar a un format que convida l'experiència tàctil o imatge hàptica.

As part of a research on care I asked my mother to go through the family photo archives. I wanted her to pay attention to the contact between bodies, which I related to care. The act of asking her in searching, identifying and selecting pictures from the archive constituted in itself an act of care. I worked with the pictures she curated and translated them into a form akin to the tactile experience or haptic image.
