Artista, investigadora i educadora, Sole-Coromina ha creat un cos de treballs centrat en l'espai: contruint situacions que tenen el potencial de qüestionar, imaginar, transformar l'espai social. A través d'una aproximació indisciplinada, que inclou vídeo, performance, dibuix, i so, s'ha aproximat a llocs per a detonar noves idees sobre l'espaialitat. Sole-Coromina ha estat resident a LABMIS (Laboratorio da Imagem e do Som) a Sao Paulo (Brasil), i el seu treball s'ha exposat al Drawing Center a Nova York, a la Fundació Chirivella-Soriano a València, a Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona), entre d'altres.

Sole-Coromina és llicenciada en Belles Arts per la Universitat de Barcelona (2000), doctora per Teachers College a Columbia University (2018), i actualment és professora a la Universitat de Vic. Ha fet presentacions/tallers sobre el joc, l'espai social i les pràctiques artístiques contemporànies, l'espacialitat en els orígens del cinema i l'art contemporani, o sobre el dibuix i l'exploració del temps; ha treballat com a educadora a diferents institucions educatives a EUA i Espanya.

Sole-Coromina is an artist, researcher and educator from Barcelona. She has developed a body of works centered on space: building situations that have the potentiality to question, to fuel imagination, and to reshape social spaces. Through an undisciplinary approach, which involves video, performance, drawing, and sound, she has approached sites unfolding new ideas about spatiality. Sole-Coromina has been resident at LABMIS (Laboratorio da Imagem e do Som) in Sao Paulo (Brazil), and her work has been exhibited at the Drawing Center in New York, at Fundació Chirivella-Soriano in València (Spain), Ars Santa Mònica (Barcelona), among others.

Sole Coromina graduated in Fine Arts at Universitat de Barcelona (2000), earned a doctorate at Teachers College, Columbia University (2018), and is currently professor at Universitat de Vic (Barcelona). She has given lectures/workshops on play, social space, and contemporary art practices, and on early cinema spatiality and contemporary art, on drawing and the exploration of time, to name a few; She has taught at different educational institutions in Spain and US.
