Aquest projecte planteja una reflexió entorn de la importància dels llocs sagrats en diverses confessions religioses presents a la ciutat de Vic, atenent tant a les seves característiques arquitectòniques com a la manera com aquests espais són viscuts per les persones que els utilitzen. En aquest sentit, les persones esdevenen un element central per observar els hàbits, les pràctiques i els rituals, així com la manera com aquests circulen pels llocs sagrats. L’anàlisi de l’espai permet revelar les formes d’ús i les vivències que generen els llocs sagrats, especialment a partir de les persones que tenen cura dels temples, dels seus moviments, de les gestualitats que esdevenen rituals carregats de simbolisme i dels objectes emprats en aquestes pràctiques. En particular, el material tèxtil adquireix una rellevància central com a element d’anàlisi, ja que permet identificar punts de contacte entre les tres comunitats religioses amb les quals ha treballat l’artista: la Congregació dels Dolors, el gurdwara de la comunitat sikh i la mesquita de la Comunitat Musulmana de Vic.

Sacred places
This project proposes a reflection on the importance of sacred places within the diverse religious confessions present in the city of Vic, considering both their architectural characteristics and the ways in which these spaces are experienced by the people who use them. In this sense, people become a central element through which to observe habits, practices, and rituals, as well as the ways in which these circulate within sacred spaces.

The analysis of space makes it possible to reveal patterns of use and lived experiences generated by sacred places, particularly through those who care for the temples, their movements, the gestures that become rituals charged with symbolism, and the objects employed in these practices. Textile material, in particular, acquires a central relevance as an analytical element, as it allows for the identification of points of contact among the three religious communities with which the artist has worked: the Congregation of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Sikh community gurdwara, and the mosque of the Muslim Community of Vic.
