A "Llegir a la intempèrie" investigo l'experiència de viure i créixer en un context rural essent dona. Vaig sortir a caminar en set ocasions amb filles del poble de Torrelameu i en lloc de collir fruita, vaig dedicar-me a collir paraules i expressions que més endavant retorno al territori en forma de "peus de foto" estampada en tèxtil.
Aspectes com les diferències generacionals respecte la percepció del temps, el paper de l'aigua en la construcció de la identitat i l'espai social, el treball i la precarietat, l'alegria i el cant, emergeixen durant aquestes caminades-narracions. M’interesso per les paraules, pel parlar de lloc i per la figura retòrica de les lletanies, és a dir l'enumeració o tirallonga monòtona que ressona amb els gestos repetitius del camp creant: la lletania de les filles o de la imaginació que parteix d'allò que era inimaginable essent dona, la lletania dels diners o la intempèrie que parteix de la precarietat d'estar exposada a la intempèrie, així com una sèrie de "peus de foto" o estendarts que recullen altres experiències i visions sobre la vida al món rural.

In “Llegir a la intempèrie” which could be translated as "reading in the open air," I explore the experience of living and growing up as a woman in a rural context. I went walking on seven occasions with women of the village of Torrelameu and, instead of gathering fruit, I gathered words and expressions which I later return to the territory in the form of “captions” printed on textiles.
During these walking-narrations, themes emerged such as generational differences in the perception of time, the role of water in shaping identity and social space, and precaiousness of agricultural work, chants and happiness. I am drawn to words and ways of speaking, and to the rhetorical figure of litanies: the monotonous enumeration that resonates with the repetitive gestures of the agricultural work cycles. I created "the litany of daughters or imagination", which tackles was once unimaginable for women; "the litany of money or intempèrie," which stems from the experience of vulnerability; as well as a series of “captions” or banners that speak about additional aspects of living in the rural area.
