Sèrie de linogravats que respon a la invitació de realitzar una edició en un taller de gravat on havia treballat a Nova York. En comptes de traçar o gravar noves imatges, vaig respondre a la invitació proposant imprimir allò que ja havia estat "dibuixat" o gravat; és a dir, imprimir les incisions i línies que durant anys els estudiants del taller havien realitzat per error o de manera inadvertida damunt la taula del taller. El procés d'imprimir la taula, que demana tanta feina de neteja com d'entintar, fa visible aspectes del procés creatiu que normalment són perifèrics i invisibles –errors, moviments, repeticions...- així com punts cecs del lloc de treball.

Series of linoprints created as an invitation to produce an edition of prints in a workshop I used to work in NYC. Instead of tracing or etching new images, I responded to the invitation with the proposal of printing that which had already been drawn, traced, etched, such as incisions created by mistake or inadvertently by the students throughout the years. The process of printing, which requires cleaning as much cleaning as inking, renders visible aspects of the creative process that usually are peripheral and invisible –mistakes, movements, repetitions...– as well as workspace's blindspots.
